Amid the royal family's Easter celebrations and the Queen's 93rd birthday on April 21, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex gave us potentially the biggest clue yet that Baby Sussex's arrival is imminent. Meghan Markle's mother Doria Ragland has touched down in the U.K. ahead of her daughter's impending due date reports People.
The Sun quoted a source as saying, "Like all mums, Doria wants to be there for her daughter at this seismic event in her life." Doria also made the trip from Los Angeles in March to commemorate Meghan's British baby shower - the duchess also celebrated with her friends in New York. It's also worth noting that Ragland will be visiting Meghan and Harry in their new residence, Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
The expecting parents officially moved out of their Kensington Palace apartment earlier this month amid continued reports of a rift between Princes Harry and William. Coupled with the mounting public scrutiny around Meghan's pregnancy and reported feud with Kate Middleton.
As for Ragland's arrival, The Sun's source adds, "She wants to spend as much time as possible with her first grandchild and has come over for a sustained period of time. Meghan also wanted to show off her new house to her mum and the two have been enjoying spending time together."
