1. Scrub
Apply a lip exfoliator to chapped lips and gently brush them, in a circular motion, with a soft tooth brush. Use a damp cloth to wash off the scrub and any dry skin. Do this once a week. Opt for a soothing lip scrub that comes blended with sugar micro-crystals for added exfoliation.

2. Regenerating Balm
For nourishment and round-the-clock hydration, look to a 100 per cent natural lip balm such as Minenssey's Lip Spa Regenerating Balm. Supercharged with ingredient L22® (derived from macadamia, jojoba and olive) and mango seed butter, it promises to reboot dry lips. Bush-sourced lemon myrtle refreshes and soothes, while BLUE Oléoactif® rice bionic extract protects skin from blue light and urban pollutants.
The best bit? Thanks to natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory cocoa seed butter, the Lip Spa Regenerating Balm also helps to nix and reduce fine lines.

3. Mask
If your lips are always feeling dry, invest in a weekly lip mask that targets parched pouts. Search for formulas free from parabens, synthetic fragrances, mineral oils and sulphates that could irritate sensitive or damaged lips. Helping to lock in lip moisture, the rich, non-sticky jelly Kissu Lip Mask from Matcha aims to visibly plump fine lines and wrinkles, and boost the appearance of suppleness and firmness.

5. Sun Protectant
Not only can UV exposure cause dry and chapped lips, it can also lead to skin cancers. The best way to safeguard lips is to ensure your pout is constantly protected when spending time outdoors. This clear, mint-flavoured formula will protect lips from UV damage and can be worn over lipsticks and glosses.
