“I have sensitive combination skin so it’s very fussy and requires attention. I have very little time to fuss over it and need quick solutions.”
A friend of the brand Neostrata, Wood tells us that she’s been following a 4-step routine, all products of which feature the hero ingredient, glycolic acid.
“It’s super simple for me to do at home amongst the madness,” she says.
“My nighttime skin routine is so important. Before I go to bed, I’ll wash my face with the Neostrata Resurface Foaming Glycolic Wash ($54.99). It’s formulated to exfoliate and cleanse congested pores so it’s the perfect prep for the products that follow.”
Glycolic acid is an AHA known for gently exfoliating the skin, and helps to refine texture, treat pigmentation and enhance glow. It’s an ingredient Wood wishes she knew about sooner.
“I then use the Glycolic Renewal Serum ($74.99) – it’s oil-free (which I love) and helps to renew my skin’s texture. I follow with the Glycolic Renewal Smoothing Lotion ($64.99), covering my face to décolletage. Then I finish my routine with the Glycolic Renewal Smoothing Cream ($64.99, all products available at priceline.com.au).”
Aside from sticking to her routine, Wood’s next best glow tip is to drink lots of water. “It’s a simple and easy way to keep your skin and body in check,” she says.
When it comes to in-salon treatments, Wood is currently loving Laser Genesis. “It gives my skin a new lease of life by stimulating the collagen regrowth.”
She visits Dr Tass in Melbourne and the treatment requires zero downtime.
